[Boatanchors] (no subject)

Hey, I moved to FL about 15 years ago. for warm weather. I lived in 
Fulton, NY in the heart of the lake effect snow belt. I have seen 5ft. 
of snow in one night and whites out so bad that the only way you could 
drive was to keep one wheel in the ditch so you knew where the road was 
and hope you didn't hit a mail box. I heated the house with wood I 
chopped and split in the summer and got up at 5AM to start up the 
tractor with the snow blower to clean my walks and driveway so I could 
get to work. Besides that I walked to school in the snow, up hill both ways.

Back about 1980 I talked to McMurdo Station one Christmas day when it 
was 30 below in Fulton not counting wind chill when we were in the 
middle of a white out.

I moved to Clearwater because I want beach weather all year and don't 
complain about the electric bill to keep the AC running. If I need heat, 
I turn the Invader 2000. I get a nice toasty glow from a pair of 
4-400's. I don't want to see snow ever again even on TV.
