Strange as it may seem, we "lucky dog" types down South got this snow before you guys in the North. I'm in the SE corner of TN, very near the GA state line, and things have just started to clear up here today. We had 4-5 inches of snow, very windy and cold for 3 days now but today has turned quite sunny and it should all be gone in a few days. Roads are good here since the county snowplow and deicer truck ran about 6PM on Christmas Day.

It doesn't take much snow or ice to foul up the roads quickly here, mostly because few know how to drive in the stuff. All our 2WD vehicles have locking differentials and we do have one 4WD vehicle. And none of that does us the slighest good when all the roads become blocked with abandoned vehicles!!! LOL!!!

Yessir, I was onced stalled for many hours in my attempts to make it home in snow & ice conditions while driving my 4WD truck, all roads blocked. The local wrecker drivers around here make a fortune during snow & ice conditions! LOL! I just have to patiently wait for them to finish their feeding frenzy and then I can go.
