that's what's so good about the old radios that glow in the dark. They will still load into ice covered lines and antennas.
Remember back when as a Novice the old timers telling about loading up bed springs, even wet strings ... HI HI.
And ... all those nice glowing rigs warm up the shack ... unlike transistors.
