Dick,
Congratulations, you got yourself a nice little receiver. I have one, got it
about 9 years ago. For some reason I never got a manual for it, but manuals
in Russian and German are available from various sources.
Don't bother finding audio plugs. You need banana plugs. The Russian and
Eastern European audio output is a standard 2 prong plug, the same kind as
was used all over Europe for the 220 V line plugs, with the prongs the size
of standard banana plugs. Bear in mind that the standard impedance of the
Russian military audio output, therefore the headsets is 50 ohms! There is
also a 600 ohm line output. Once in a while you can find Eastern
European/Russian 50 ohm military headsets on ebay, and they all have the 2
prong plug.
BTW if you need an explanation of the front panel control Russian
nomenclature, I can send you the labels in English.
>From your subsequent posting regarding the antenna connector: this is one of
the the standard Russian coax connectors, there is no Western equivalent.
I'm lucky that my R-326 came with the matching plug. You can post a request
on the "RussianRadio" mailing list
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Russianradio/, or the European Boatanchors
list http://groups.yahoo.com/group/euro_ba_swap/ for the connector. I know
that some Russian hams are on the Milsurplus list
http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/milsurplus and you could post a
request there as well. Across the pond, there are plenty of collectors in
the UK who have Russian military radios, so you can try this list:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Wireless-Set-No19/ .

Subject: [Boatanchors] R-326 Receiver Info Needed
I just received a Russian R-326 Receiver. With the exception of
the Italian site, is there any other repository's of info on this
receiver ?
I need to locate a couple of the Audio connectors. They look like
the dual phone plugs of Ma Bell's in the Olde Dayes !!
The spacing is about 3/4" and a PL-68 (Drake/Collins) plug is a bit
too big to fit.
