I know that Wang also used an IBM Selectric variant as a system printer.

Being responsible as a co-op student for maintaining such a system (it also 
had nifty Nixie readouts!) almost got me my first experience with being 
fired (picture a long haired co-op student being counselled by a GS15 PhD 
Physicist Division Chief for violating approved supplier directives within 
Tthe USAF contract management bureaucracy ). "Yes, I know you did the right 
thing, but you can't do that any more"...
