Too late John- they're already out there in some on-line auction 
sites.
To add insult to injury, they sometimes don't bother with the filament 
but put coloured LEDs in behind the tube to add to the 'effect'!!
I console myself by thinking that they probably have no idea how to 
light up the filament anyway........

filament powered by a wall-wart, Get audio guys to buy them for $29.95
