[Boatanchors] 19" Cabinet Mounting Question

I work as the Chief Engineer at a TV station.
We mount a LOT of equipment in racks.
All of our racks have the holes that you describe.
We use these

to mount our equipment.
This is a pack of 25 of the clip nuts.
These are the standard 10-32 thread.
There are also 6MM clip nuts available.
It sounds like you may need 8 clip nuts for the
front and possibly 4 for a back support.
You can find these at other places.
Markertek seems to have most of what we need so they a one of our suppliers.
Newark also has these for slightly more.
