Remember, to meet the 1500 watt peak output restriction you can't run more than 375 watts of carrier with 100% modulation.

I've been having lots of fun playing with the push-pull VT-127As the last few evenings.
 
I've got the full 1800 volts on the plates now.  It will make just over 600 watts out, but that's too much for plate-modulation, so I've been reducing the loading and got to just over 400 watts out.
 
At that setting, each tube is dissapating 70 watts and efficiency is 72%. Should be just right for AM.
