I'd like to thank Mac, Carl and all, both on and off the list, for the help.  I even got a spelling lesson!

I applied HV to the push-pull pair of VT-127As last evening.  The power supply I used is pretty wimpy, but it did manage just over 1000 volts.

The rig seemed to tune up easily with no signs of instability.  End result was 105 ma grid current, 400 ma plate current and 300 watts on the watt meter.

Very nice red glow on the anodes, as well.

That's much better than I expected.  Perhaps my paranoia relative to those tubes will now fade away.
