Hello folks,

I am working towards designing and building an antenna coupler. 

A long time ago, I ferreted this Collins motorised roller inductor assembly away.  It measures about 4.5" x 3.75" x 2.65". It has a roller inductor, a 115 V 1 phase 400 Hz motor, a WW resistor and a 0.33 uF 120 Vac capacitor. On its chassis, it claims to be part of CU-351/AR or CU-509/AR. The green tag and the chassis agree that it is part number 541-2343-902; the tag says it was tested OK in 1959.

I would like to know what equipment this worked with, what frequency range, what power, what assumed antenna. What would be really nice would be a schematic of the control circuitry; even better would be the actual control circuitry - the hardware - itself.
