  I'm fortunate in that I have four sockets (or, "fixtures", as Eimac calls them).  If I didn't have the sockets, I see no real problem making something up that would work.

  If you like, I can make some measurements and send them to you.

  Whatever it is that will be holding the filament pins must be able to float, or move slightly.  The tube gets quite hot even with just filament voltage applied, so the spacing on the two filament pins will change between hot and cold and they must be able to move.

  The sockets I have are built so that there is some spring-like tension on the pins when they are inserted.

  Eimac, or someone, made heat dissipating connectors that worked in the same fashion.  I'd start with a pair of those.  RF Parts carries them.  They even know what a VT-127A is.

  I'm using the same connectors for the grid and plates.
