[Boatanchors] ARR-41 Speaker Question

Tha ARR-41 was never designed to be used with a speaker. It is an aircraft
receiver which was used as an auxiliary receiver with the early airborne HF
channelized transceivers. Output impedance is 600 ohms, and with the correct
impedance matching, there should be enough volume for a speaker - it's not
going to shatter your shack's windows though...

Subject: [Boatanchors] ARR-41 Speaker Question

What do folks use as a speaker for the ARR-41 ? From a
cursory glance at the manual, it seems the output may
not be enough to drive a speaker.

Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ
