Hi Pete,
I'd stumbled onto this stuff via Google search before. I suspect it's
another case of "you tax dollars at work." The Army at Ft. Monmouth
actually employs paid historians. But rather than scanning this stuff
and making it available via the web, they want to encourage "legitimate"
researchers to come to there place to see this stuff. Never mind that
the base is closed to the public, so you'd have to jump through further
hoops.
They also have a 28 minute "History of Ft. Monmouth Movie" on line that
refuses to run on my computer. However. I was able to hack my way to
it. You can use the following link to access it directly:

Again, our tax dollars at work.
