[Boatanchors] KWM 1 History Question

There is NOT enough room behind the pilot's head for a KWM-1. It would
be impossible to deal with trying to use a system of mirrors to "play"
with a radio - at the same time flying an aircraft within an
approximately 25 mph window of "stall or break apart", and having your
helmet scraping on the inside of the canopy.

The view from the cockpit requires a vehicle to run down the runway and
help the pilot to land, talking him down the last 10 feet or so.

Someone has a "very" vivid imagination!
