John.... AVC out doesn't need a jumper... use it if you are using dual
diversity.

ISB.........if you have the RA 121,75 ohm coax goes between input socket
and one of the 100kHz output  sockets of the RA-17.
In  addition twin lead is to be connected  between one pair of the  audio
output  terminals at rear of RA17 and the Rx audio input terminals  at the
rear of the adaptor.
