[Boatanchors] Old BC receiver

Maybe this is a bit off-topic for this group, but I have a question about
an old BC receiver I picked up at a recent hamfest. It's a TRF using
five 01-A tubes. The name on the front panel is Oracle V. I haven't
been able to find that as either a manufacturer name or a model name
in my small collection of old radio collecting books. Does anybody
recognize it.

I have another old radio, also using five 01-As, that has absolutely
no manufacturer or model markings at all. It's very well done, all
the wires neatly bent, looks like a factory job rather than a homebrew.
And the front panel is engraved, which also argues against a homebrew.
Seems to be a Neutrodyne, so maybe whoever made it was dodging the
Neutrodyne patent.
