That actually sounds more like the RBO, Carl. The Scott Special was a
(large) table top premium communications receiver bult just before the war.
Black panel, two separate tuners with two large dials (one on each side),
round meter in center, 6-7 bands, basically Scott's answer to Hallicrafters
Dual Diversity I'd guess, though they are different beasts. Not many of them
made, when one sirfaces it brings big dollars. I've seen one only, a very
nice set. Sorta looks like a Sky Buddy on steroids, though much higher
quality and utility of course.
