Hi. These groups have always been a valuable resource in the past, so
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!!

First, I am in 'serious' need of the following Manuals:n (I have
searched the WWW, NO joy)

1. Exact Instruments Model 528 Log Sweep /Function Generator (User)

2. Krohn-Hite Model 5200A Function Generator (User) (K-H wants $100!!)

3. Biddle Model 110-1 (Catalog No. 655110-1) tdr (have User, need
schematic / service info)

Speaking of the Biddle:
The Biddle is a favorite TDR of mine. I picked it up not too long ago
and did a complete cosmetic refurb. It looks new. I also found 2
electrolytic caps on a board that were NG (spilling brown goo). It
worked perfectly and had a nice sharp pulse and trace. Last Sunday, I
was using it to check the 'fan' dipole I have out in my shop. Things
were FB, until I switched the "Range" switch a couple of times. Now,
all I have is a dot on the left side of the screen. No, there were NO
thunderstorms at the time! ha ha
In addition, I now hear a high pitched 'whine' coming from the
transformer. I suspect this is the hor osc???n I always thought I could
fix 'a rainy day', but it's good to be humbled now and then....
I can move said dot right and left, with the horizontal position knob.
When I switch in the "Gain 5X" switch, I can see a fleeting vertical
trace.
Obviously, (??) I have a Horizontal oscillator / amp problem. However,
the User Manual has NO schematic, voltage checks, etc.
In the past, I have had fair success fixing Tek scopes and TDRs, but
this Biddle, has me baffled. ha ha
I have a collection of 1502 and 1503 Tek TDRs, but I really like this
Biddle, for some reason.

Could anyone be willing to help me get her running again? Repair
source? Yep, I'll actually pay someone to get her working again.

Please help this old f#rt get his 'baby' working again. I do have
'scopes, transistor testers, etc. To be honest, I haven't even done
voltage checks. Without a schematic, I'm lost......

Thank you!!
