Good day, from Joe w5jdy in Okla.... I have a low voltage high current
transformer extra to my needs... I have the following information about
it... 8.4 lbs.... 3.5" tall x 4.0" wide x 2.25" thick (core size)...
3.25" x 3.5" mounting centers.... Primary has a brown common lead and 4
taps... (all leads are at least 9" long).. AC voltages measured at the
secondary when plugged into the 120 vac line and a 10 ohm load applied
are,8.5vac between brown and green.....8.85 vac between brown and
yellow..... 9.22 vac between brown and orange and 9.55 vac between brown and
red.... Could be used for a 9 volt high current transformer... The
secondary wire is square and measures .135" or 18225 circular mils...
According to the wire tabe is approximately 25 amps plus.... I can only say
the wire is definitely .135" square the other figures could be wrong???
If anyone interested I can send you a picture or two.... BTW printed on
the transformer model.... 33Y-34683 and HT-611 Brand Unknown... Please
contact me off line at. w5jdy at intergate.com Price $12.00 plus
