TNX Larry. I wonder if it allows for Daylight Time or that 'CET', Central
European Time? I thought that UTC was the accepted standard until a station
I was to meet for a schedule on the air who was in Switzerland showed up one
hour early! He was not using UTC, I was.
I wrote a short article on the various and sundry forms and types of time
that is posted on the HHI web site under the "Roadway To The World" articles
section under the "SWL" menu.
Since most children are growing up with watches and clocks that are
handless, only a digital display, it is frightening how many can not tell
the time on a time piece that uses hands! Remember August 14, 2003? The
largest CME possibly ever, depending on which expert one asks, knocked out
everything from cellular phones to satellite TV to water systems to
electrical grids to computers to ... It will happen again!
