Nitrile (or possibly polyethylene) gloves are a good idea, and not much
more expensive than latex; you can get nitrile gloves at many drugstores
and a lot of hardware stores. A polyethylene apron might also be a good
idea, or you can just poke holes in a big trash bag and wear that.

MEK isn't something to be scared of, but it is something to be careful
with.
