How about a small bucket with some cement in it!!!
We used to use milk jugs with sand in them to hold
our tent down in Dayton Flea Market...Worked great
and has a handle to tie the rope to..

Looks to me like a foot length of 1" to 1.5" pvc
pipe, two pipe caps, an eye
bolt and some sand would make a pretty good
substitute
