Hi John,
    I've done it, but probably not with quite teh weight you have.  I've 
done as Jim & Todd, used plastic jugs, filled them up as much as needed to 
keep the wire up where I wanted it.  Much easier/quicker than trying to 
calculate forces, angles, weights, etc. Worst problem is that the plastic 
deteriorates after a yr or so, so leave a "safety line" hanging down in case 
it breaks & empties or falls off & the antenna pulls the halyard up out of 
reach.
