KInda figured that! Motorola likes to have "control" (or did anyway) of the
land mobile market. I remember when they lobbied the FCC to give them a
"continous" mobile band in the VHF range including amateur 2 meter space and
relegate them to somewhere else in the spectrum. Don't remember the year,
but there was a big fuss about it from the hams.
