[Boatanchors] Transformers and Chokes Source

The ripple from a half-wave rectifier is much greater, so you need a lot
more filtering than with a full wave rectifier. The cost of three more
diodes for a FW bridge is likely far less than a bigger filter cap. Half
wave rectifiers are sloppy design anyway.
