JOHNSON INVADER 200

I bought this off e-Bay, it was touted as a “working” unit. I even
had the sellers “friend” tell me how great a rig it was.

Well, it worked … sort of … After I fixed the two broken wires in
the power cable, it put out all of 45 watts. Due in part to mixing a
6146A and a 6146B as finals. 

I did put in two new 6146A’s and tweaked the rf a tad and got a
little over 100 watts out. However, I was given a Viking II, so
this poor puppy got relegated to the shelf. I put the two mis-matched
6146’s back in as I needed the new finals for the Viking II (which I
should add, works great).

So, what you get basically is the Invader, as I received it (except I fixed
the power cable). I paid way too much for this thing, but it has to go as
I’ll never use it.

Price is $200. You can pick it up in Tucson or we can meet somewhere
(in Southern Arizona). If you want it shipped, I’ll take it to a UPS Store
and they can pack and ship it. That option will not be cheap, I expect
somewhere in the vicinity of $100.
