The TBW is essentially a repackaged GO-9 with a suppressor grid  
modulator stage added (in the PS).  Off the top of my head, but looks  
like a response to a requirement to come up with a quick and dirty  
portable ground radio.  Rather than come up with a new power supply  
"they" came up with a gasoline powered 115v,  800cps MG set to run  
it.  There were also 60 Hz and DC motor MG sets for the beast too  
although these may have been designed for the TCE first.
