The TBW is essentially a repackaged GO-9 with a suppressor grid
modulator stage added (in the PS). Off the top of my head, but looks
like a response to a requirement to come up with a quick and dirty
portable ground radio. Rather than come up with a new power supply
"they" came up with a gasoline powered 115v, 800cps MG set to run
it. There were also 60 Hz and DC motor MG sets for the beast too
although these may have been designed for the TCE first.
