Larry, it's very nice of you to donate the TO-4, in the best traditions
of ham radio.
Just for your information while there may have been a couple of diesel
generators or
pumps on the Arizona and the other pre-war built BB's the ships ran on
Bunker-C.
A thick tar like substance that required steam heating pipes run through
the fuel bunkers
to thin it enough so that it could be pumped to the boilers. Lord knows
how long it will take
for the tons of it on board to leak and bubble up to the surface. I hope
the memory of those
brave men entombed there lasts longer.
