Darrell,
Took care of a BTA-1R for many years, years ago.  Pretty good TX, has some
quirks, but stable when you get it ironed out.

Manuals available in scanned versions (pretty big files) from:

Lots of other RCA stuff there too.
Will check, may have a Gates book around here somewhere, not sure if it's a
G version or not.
