[Boatanchors] Cheaper than an Orange Drop Capacitor?

Whats an Orange Drop?  Just kidding however I refuse to use those unless 
requested by a customer, as they are nothing but an overpriced alternative 
to other choices.

For and RF/IF bypassing disc ceramic are superior and started replacing 
paper caps in the early 50's. I use those for audio also as the levels we 
work at dont need anything fancy unless its in a circuit that has high peak 
voltages in values not available in discs. The Xicon's mentioned are 
excellent quality, just dont touch them with a soldering iron. I use those 
in some restorations and also in some high end vintage audio test equipment. 
They also are the right size for restuffing.
