I am restoring a Knight T-50. It has a copper case which needs to be repainted. What procedure do you use to paint on copper?
Do I strip off all the old paint?
If so, what do you use to strip?
Do you sand the case and prime?
What do you do about a "crinkle coat?"
Does Krylon paint or similar paint work? (I would think it would)
Is there a web site that covers this information?

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. Is Common Sense divine?
Common Sense is the image of the Creator expressing revealed truth in my mind. - J. Wolf
