[Boatanchors] Bristol wrench 75A4

Hi Natan,

If you happen to have a reproduction knob, the set screws supplied with it
are Allen not Bristol. I've been fooled and frustrated on that difference a
couple of times, so if the other advice on Bristol size doesn't do it then
try the smaller Allen sizes.

It might be possible to look down the hole with a strong light and get an
idea of which type you may have.

The reproduction knobs can generally be identified by being quite shiny and
the spinner tends to have "flash" left over from the mold the length of the
shaft on both sides. The original knobs tend to be rather flat in shine.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Bristol wrench 75A4

Dear Friends,

After purchasing two "complete" set of Bristol wrenches to be used with my
75A4, I have yet to find one that fits correctly. Can anyone tell me the
number of the correct Bristol Tool that is needed to remove the tuning knob
(4:1 spinner) on a Collins 75A4. I believe they are identified by numbers.

Thanks all,

Natan W6XR
