I thought Dayton was pretty good for boatanchors- I probably saw 3 dozen or
more that might be of interest, and most were gone by Saturday (unless
many were packed up and taken home). As usual, some good prices and some
offered at the top of the eBay price range, which probably didn't generate much
interest. For instance, I saw a twin of my R-4C offered at $750, which I
thought was pretty pricey.
There were 3-4 each of the classic military receivers (SP-600, R-388 and
R-390). The one item I was tempted by was a 6-ft rack with (from the top)
SP-600, R-388, R-390A, R-390. I Didn't ask how much, because it had already
been sold. A similar sampling of 75A-1,2,3,4 was available, but I saw few
75S units.
I did pick up a DX-100 for refurbishment, and would have bought a BC-779 if
the vendor had returned on Sunday. Oh well, maybe next year.
