The Nuvistaplug is a plug-in module to replace pentode 
type receiver RF amplifier tubes.  It uses a pair of
triode nuvistor tubes in a cascode configuration. It
is of most use above 15 MHz or so where atmospheric
noise is less and the lower noise figure of the triode
cascode circuit becomes an advantage.
