You guys are bumming me all out! Especially after just yesterday, I
read that WRNO is back with a good signal, 15590 days and 7505 nights.
So I dialed 'em up last night and they were booming in on 7505 playing
contemporary Christian music. Ain't quite the Rock of New Orleans, but
still nice to hear them back. We all know that someone has to pay the
bills - WBCQ is proving that the "free speech" model seems to work, at
least in part. Like most things, I suspect we will see the pendulum
swing back on shortwave, just look at the example of the US military
Global HF Network, which is expanding with a brand new command facility
in North Dakota.

Heck, I'm still ticked that Sirius messed up my favorite XM channels.
But like my HF radios, it's got a dial, it's up to me to use it.
