[Boatanchors] Reasonable Price

This post isn't aimed at anyone in particular but is aimed at anyone who
includes "Reasonable Price" in their free (since very few here help support this
list) request for assistance. I've learned the hard way never to waste my time
responding to anyone who tacks anything similar to "resonable price" onto a
request for hardware, software or paper data. In decreasing order of
reasonableness, they usually mean either cheap, free, or if you pay me and pay for
shipping I'll take it off your hands.

If you need something, just ask for it. If someone responds with an asking
price higher that you are willing to pay, decline or don't respond. His price
may be high or your expectations may be more than half a century out of date
but no one will force you to pay it. But don't start off a request with an
insult. The phrase "reasonable price" is nothing but noise.
