I wish to thank all for the timely response to my question about the orange OA3.

That's quite a relief!  When I first saw that orange glow, my first thought was "What now!"

While on the subject of the MSS, I'd very much like to chat with anyone who has experience with them.

My first goal is to use one of them on my Hallicrafters Ht-4B (which is very similar to the BC-610) as a VFO.

I'm told (but not how) that I can plug the output of the MSS into the crystal socket of the HT-4B tuning unit.  There must be something of a load on the MSS to do this.

The output of the MSS is probably much greater than needed for that method.

Any words of wisdom appreciated.
