Hello Byron,

Let me suggest to you that you utilize the excellent search functions found
on the HHI (Halligan's Hallicrafters International) web site to procure
information on the 129x.

www.w9wze.net

>From the home page, locate the "search archives' link and give it a drop
click.

Remember Byron; you can search by the model, in this case the 129x, or by
any function or title that might be unique to it.

There have been several lengthy threads on the Hammarlund 129x receiver over
the past several years. The last I knew, prior to the change of ownership,
the list archives went back at least sixty months, or five years. In some
cases, the lists went back even farther. Suffice it to say, that there is a
"lot" of valuable information in the Heathkit archives waiting for you!

I think, and I am not certain about this, there was a thread here on the
Boat Anchors list also. However, it was much shorter in length. The length
does not = quality, however!

You can check both the Heathkit and the Boat Anchors list archives from the
Halli web site, so go for it and enjoy!
