No, the HHI (Halligan's Hallicrafters International) Global Glow Roundtable
tube chew is not dead! Somewhere in the mysterious vapors that exist between
the point of the takeoff angle and the D layer of the Ionosphere ethers, my
signal lurks. Waiting to pounce upon any antenna uttering "W8DBF", "Yo blind
dude" and so forth. So if I do not respond with "Hark! Please name your
shadow call tag from the FCC and confess to the whereabouts of your dark den
with those things that still go glow in the dark! You will never be ignored,
but you may not be heard if that propagation entity decides to ingest your
signal!

contact, change to 7.190 +/- and we will be there until 7:45 PM EST, or 0045
