[Boatanchors] Receiver Antenna Input Question

I have always used a ~2.5 mH rf choke and/or a 2.2 Meg resistor, ant to 
ground.
No worries abt rx or tx. No signal degradation. No voltage buildup until 
the gas shunt fires.
