Robert,
You might want to soften your statement about the ARC-5 before you are
flooded with responses.
I flew aircraft with components of the ARC-5 system which were operated for
voice communications in the 2 to 7 MHz range.

No radio set with nomenclature "ARC-5" was ever built. If it had been, it
would have been a VHF countermeasures receiver. The last revision was
ARC-1.
At the next revision, the Navy changed the nomenclature to AN/APR-1.
