[Boatanchors] HEATH HP-23 Question

Dick,
Major diff in the HP-23 and HP-23A, I think, was the HP-23A was made to use
on 120V and 240V, depending on primary wiring.

There was also the presence of the bias adjust pot on the outside vs inside
or fixed, and the LV on/off switch appeared on some. My HP-23 has no switch
or bias pot, while the HP-23A has the LV switch and pot. Both have the
thermal circuit breaker sticking out.

When working right with good capacitors, the HP-23 is a fairly 'universal'
item to have around. Have seen them used on Drake, Collins, Hallicrafters,
Heath of course and a lot of home brew and surplus stuff.

Hope this is of some value.

Subject: [Boatanchors] HEATH HP-23 Question

There seems to be several variants of the HP-23 Power Supply.
Are there major differences or just cosmetic ? Can you tell me
the differences ?

I am looking to get one for a bench supply.

Failing that, the Hallicrafters PS-120 (I think) may also do.
