Hello John,
Sadly I have nothing to offer, but hopefully you may be able to help
me.I have a very nice Morrow CM-1 Conelrad receiver in fine working
condition.But,(and it's a "big but"),lacking the case. I am under the
impression that many Morrow cases were interchangeable but as this is
my only piece of Morrow gear that I own, and probably will never own
any others,I seek advice and a case (and I have sporadicaly posted
requests for a cabinet on this list, but to no avail).
Best regards and continued success in collecting Morrow gear!

PS The CM-1 is by no means a hi-fi receiver but it is totally hot as
far as sensitivity is concerned.I get a band full of stations with a
few feet of wire for an antenna. If the Conelrad alert was transmitted
from Chicago,I would probably get my alarm activated here in central
coast California!(actually I have no alarm but I am thinking of setting
one up).If there were ever a nuclear event perpetuated against the
United States, would the Conelrad alert be activated?Or is that no
longer needed since we now have EMP proof cell phones?
JC
