The Eldico "S-Line" was a 2nd source for the Collins 75S-1/32S-1 that the military required for MARS stations. The Eldico equipment uses the same crystal types as the Collins except that the 200 kHz frequency segment is shifted 100 kHz. That is the same frequency crystal ends up in a band segment that is shifted 100 kHz from what it is in the Collins.
Back in the mid 1970s I had both the transmitter and receiver. Traded them off because I had 2 Collins S-Lines. The operation is pretty close to the Collins 32S-1 transmitter and 75S-1 receiver although not quite as good.
The basic design is relatively close to the Collins but there are definitely differences.
