He owes the entire ham community an apology, not that one will be
forthcoming.  However, he has this [mistaken] impression he is far
superior to the rest of us and we are mere peasants.  This tells me
that he has nothing substantial to offer so this is his feeble
compensation.

I agree, blocking him is the best treatment.
