Hi Gang,

With so much being discussed about VLF, I would like to tell about
my experience with NSS on 16 Kc back shortly after WW2 way down
in South Atlantic near southern tip of Brazil.
At night, NSS was roaring in on 16 kc clear as a bell! while 500 Kc
was "roaring" with atmospherics and none but the nearest ships could
be heard.
General radio propagation back then was overall excellent but about
1962 propagation began to become erratic on 80 and 75 hamming.
I was not active on the other bands.
It has not been the same as it was before about 1962.
FWIW & good luck,

Ken N5CM
