The National HRO's work very well down to 50 Kc with the corrrect coils. I have bothe HRO-60T and an HRO-50R1 and both pick up many beacons and TA broadcasts stations, nice sensitive receivers. I also have a National RBL receiver which is awaiting recapping but even in it's present state it received very well when I tested it, receives 15-600 Kc. Both are very heavy with the HRO-60 being the lightest by far.
