George, WB6YEC is silk screening and painting several Johnson Panels,
including at least the 500, Ranger and Valiant, and maybe others. My
Valiant came out virtually flawless (photos on request), and at reasonable
cost. Contact him at WB6YEC at COX.NET. His ad is in ER classifieds, too!

Dee Almquist has been redoing front panels for the Johnson equipment for
some time. He would know exactly which colors are used for what.
Unfortunately, you are going to have to silk-screen to get the lettering,
etc.

For the cabinet I have had the Johnson Maroon color computer matched at
Sherwin-Williams. The "formula" for that color, along with a number of
other "boat anchor" cabinet colors can be found at

Hello All,
Does anyone on the list know what, if anything, is available for re-painting
Johnson front panels?  Looks like I'm going to end up with a Ranger,
Pacemaker and Thunderbolt all needing re-sprayed.
