It will depend on the 30 MHz frequency as to whether or not they will easily go to 10 meters. If in the 30 MHz to 36 MHz range then they should tune down to 29.600 MHz without any problems. However, if in the 36 MHz to 42 MHz range then it will take some major surgery to go to either 10 meters or 6 meters. That particular range was the most popular for lowband commercial two-way operation and, unfortunately, the least popular (because of all the modifications it takes) for amateur use. The 42 MHz to 50 MHz units will go to 52.525 MHz with only a little bit of effort.

I have a pair of circa 1958 Motorola D41GGVs (I think): vacuum tube VHF low band transceivers. These have the intergril control head on the end of the box. They appear to be in very good condx on the inside (one has a key so I got into them and looked them over). Single chnl, with xtal ovens, rocked up on 30MHz (in that area...don't remember the actual freq). They would be good for display or to put on the air on 10MFM. Both have CD stickers on the front of the control heads. No manals, DC wiring harness, or mics; just the radios.
