Greetings boys and girls!
As you can see below, the NEHRS has just been licenced on 472 and 500KHz at 5KW. It is planned as an operational, historically correct (as much as possible) shore station / museam. Steve Russell, WA1HUD, (many of you know or know of him) is spearheading the task! One of the things he'd love to have is a "Real Mill" to bang out traffic on. Anyone here have one that needs a new home? Usual rules for this type of project apply, We have no money, would love donated stuff... but all offers will be considered.
This was not any type of vanity call issued. Perhaps someone at the FCC was in a good mood? (Who was it there who trusted Steve with a 5KW TX?...) ;) We were delighted to get the call WNE "New England" Its a slow project but one that is moving along. You are welcome to visit the website www.nehrs.net for more info. Anyone interesting in joining the motley crew are welcome and should contact Steve directly.
Thanks for your time!

NEWS FLASH
The NEHRS,Inc. has been granted by the FCC the call letter WNE for MF
CW operation on 472 KHz and 500 KHz at a maximum power of 5000 watts.
Hope some of you guys get your T2 license to run the station after
construction. As soon as the snow melts and temperatures rise a bit the
large vertical will be errected. My QTH can only be temporary so we
must find a permanent home ASAP.
